I am starting with josh, But …

People start things with high josh and will loose the tempo and get dropped after some time. If some one is not able to maintain his motivation or josh in a project means, the results are not measurable. It is just intangible. Some one wants to drop 10kgs in 3 months, there should be a milestone point and measurable option. “How much I have to achieve per month and where am I standing right now, should I throttle up the process or I am on right pace? …” - all these things need a measuring point.
Only when my goals are measurable, I will be able to maintain the josh. Otherwise I cannot.

I am honest, But competitors shows carrot and gets the order

There are enough people and enough market for every product. What ever I offer, there is a market to buy. I just need to find it. I am honest. I do not cheat. People cheat. Let them. I do not bother and I do not need to focus on them. Let me focus on honest business. I will create a new market of honest people. They may be waiting for me.

How to deal with ‘EGO’?

EGO is not a small thing to drop just like that. It has a different play at different aspects.

Relationship: The word Ego itself says ‘EGo means Everything Goes’. I should not bring ego between me and my relationship. It will create a drift in the relationship. But I am not Buddha to drop my ego just like that. Ego comes in between just like that. What should I do? I need to think how much this person has to me. In case of permanent relationship (like – spouse, parents..) the list of ‘ how much they have done to me’ will be longer than ‘ How much I have done to them’. When I see ‘how much they have done to me’, my heart will be filled with gratitude and when gratitude comes, no possibility for ego. And the relationship grows and shoots up.

Spiritual: I should drop ego to align myself into the spirituality.

Personal / Professional: I should not have ego with world. But with me. With myself, I should I have thin ego. It helps me to ask myself, “How can I perform like this, this is not accepted” and pushes me more to get right. Mediocre performance and being happy about it will destroy some one’s life. He need little ego (only with himself) to get hurt, so that he will push himself and start performing.

With my self: I should have little ego, so that I will help me to grow in my profession and pushes me to perform more.
In the relationship:I should not have ego. How do I drop it ? I need to count my blessings and I need to see how much the other person has done to me. This process will fill my heart with gratitude and helps me to remove the ego.

Marc Faber comment on US economy

Investment analyst and entrepreneur Dr. Marc Faber concluded his monthly bulletin (June 2008) with the Following:

''The federal government is sending each of us a $600 rebate. If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, the money goes to China. If we spend it on gasoline it goes to the Arabs. If we buy a computer it will go to India. If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala. If we purchase a good car it will go to Germany. If we purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy. The only way to keep that money here at home is to spend it on prostitutes and beer, since these are the only products still produced in US. I've been doing my part.''

Don’t be angry, be aware

Watch someone who gets angry very quickly. The more he gets angry, the more he seems addicted to being angry. Getting angry does not resolve problems.

Biologists tell us that repeated behavior actually rewires the brain. Neural networks get established with repeated behavior pattern. What this means is that anger breeds anger.

The emotions not only rewire your brain, but they also rewire your body. In their efforts to accommodate these repeated and debilitating emotions, the cells lose the capacity to absorb nutrients. They grow less and they rejuvenate less. These changes affect you and more importantly affect your progeny as well, as your entire cellular and DNA structure can be changed by your behavior.

Biology tells us that your emotions are chemicals, and these chemicals are released by the brain. We control these chemicals. However, over time, these chemicals can change you and control you.

Watch yourself getting angry the next time. What are you angry at? Are you angry at some one or are you angry about something? If you say that you are angry at some thing, at some behavior, watch yourself as someone else repeats that behavior. Do you get equally angry? Do you allow some people to get away with such behavior, or even humor such behavior in some people that would make you blow up at another person? Therefore, are you angry with a person because you have made up your mind to be angry with that person?

You will find that 90% of the time you are angry at a person and not a behavior or an issue. If you are angry with an issue you can learn to use that anger as energy and do something with that energy. If it is a behavior you can learn to laugh at it. However, if it is a person, you have a deeper problem. You have already made a judgment about that person and all that you do is to collect evidence to support your judgment. Nothing that person does can be right for you.

With awareness you can drop these judgments. Awareness makes you realize the truth that you and another person and every other person are the same at a deep level. If you are getting angry with someone, you are in fact getting angry with yourself. It is your negativities that make you see others negatively. It is possible to drop these negativities through meditation.

Don’t get angry, become aware.
